Within AG's IT department, the Development Centers of Excellence (Dcoe) are responsible for the common technological aspects of development: standards and guidelines, technological monitoring, tooling, frameworks and support for the Delivery teams. The Dcoe Front End team is the center of expertise for front-end web development within the organization, with a focus on .NET / .NET Core and Angular. Our mission: defining standards, supporting the Delivery teams, performing technical/architectural analyses and preparing their industrialization. We are looking for a Technical Architect for this team. Your tasks You design efficient and secure technical solutions according to the standards for web development and architecture. You draw up architecture documents and present them to the architecture board. You develop and/or support the development of components, patterns, templates and front-end frameworks according to standards that promote reuse, performance and maintainability. You play an active role in maintaining and reducing technical debt by assessing the impact of new developments on existing assets. You identify technical problems, analyze the causes, propose pragmatic solutions and implement them. You contribute to the LCM (version management, obsolescence, compatibility, upgrade paths) of front-end frameworks and libraries. You clearly document standards, decisions, recommendations, implementation guides (structured and usable documentation for other teams). Do you recognize yourself in this? Technical skills and expertise: Experience with application development and an analytical/structured approach. Experience with and knowledge of front-end development in an Angular and .NET environment. Special attention to quality, standards, maintainability and performance/security. Soft skills: You communicate clearly, enjoy helping others, can explain things clearly and bring structure to information. You are able to constructively challenge processes, propose concrete options and substantiate technical decisions. You are interested in technological evolutions and actively follow them, quickly familiarize yourself with new domains and maintain an overview. Languages: You can communicate fluently, both orally and in writing, in Dutch and/or French AND in English.
