AG Insurance - Business Analyst (Sectorinitiatieven)

As a Business Analyst, you play a key role in the internal implementation of solutions from sectoral working groups (Portima, Télébib2, Sector Catalog, BMS, ...), where each insurance company is represented. You analyze the decisions made within these groups, identify the impact on our organization, and work together with internal teams to convert these decisions into concrete, effective solutions that are aligned with our priorities.








Your function



You follow developments in the sector actively (Portima developments, Télébib2 standards, updates of the sector catalog) and analyze the impact on our business processes and tools.

You set up business requirements and work together with IT teams.

You take an active part in testing solutions developed based on business requirements in environments similar to those used by our distribution partners. This ensures they function well and meet sector standards.

You ensure effective coordination and communication with internal teams: some issues handled by sectoral working groups require the involvement of expert teams (Claims Non-Life, Product Non-Life, Life, ...). Their contribution is essential for defining solutions and integrating them coherently into our processes.

You coordinate projects from start to finish and ensure that deadlines, budgets, and quality are respected.

You facilitate meetings and workshops in French, Dutch, and possibly English.

You have demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the insurance sector.




You are critically inclined, have an eye for detail, and quickly draw connections between different concepts.

You can plan well and work autonomously and structuredly.

You stand out due to your communication and collaboration skills.

You adapt quickly and understand new material quickly.

Are you familiar with tools such as Télébib2, BMS, sector catalog, etc., and do you understand their role in the ecosystem of brokers? Then you have a plus point.

You have a university degree or equivalent professional experience.
