Graduation Thesis: Design an innovative product for 12Build's growth!

About 12Build

12Build is a SaaS platform that connects construction companies, making collaboration in construction easier and more transparent. We have been around for almost twenty years and are still growing rapidly. We have over 90 colleagues in offices in Nijverdal and Zwolle. Our platform is used daily in the Benelux, Germany, and Denmark, and we aim to conquer all of Europe. With such rapid growth, there are many questions waiting that no one has yet answered well. That's where we need you.

The assignment

We are not giving you a pre-defined assignment. Together with Ed, your supervisor from 12Build, you will figure out which challenge best suits your education and interests. The final result is fixed: you will deliver an innovative product that 12Build can truly use. This could be a concept, a tool, a strategy, a prototype, or a new process, as long as it works and delivers value.

Design question (starting point):

What innovative product can 12Build develop to grow faster and smarter in the international market, and what does that product look like? Together, you will make this question concrete in the first few weeks. Possible directions:

• AI and knowledge sharing: how can we use AI to help customers and users, for example with courses or learning content in the 12Build Academy?.

• Growth and lead generation: how can we attract more new customers and follow up on leads more intelligently, for example with lead scoring or automation?.

• Self-service: how can we ensure that users find their way around the platform independently and become paying customers faster?.

• International growth: how do we tackle a new market and what works in the Netherlands but not in Germany or Denmark?.

• Customer experience and how can we get more out of customer data, reviews, and feedback to improve our services?.

• Your own idea: do you see an opportunity that is not listed here? We would love to hear about it..

What will you deliver?

• Research into the problem and opportunities, with input from colleagues, customers, or the market;.

• A developed and tested product, concept, or prototype;.

• Advice on how 12Build can implement the product, so that it continues to be used after your internship..

We are a SaaS platform that connects construction companies and thus promotes collaboration. We have been around for almost twenty years and are still growing. We now have over 90 colleagues, spread across 2 offices (Nijverdal and Zwolle). A large part of the construction world in the Benelux, Germany, and Denmark already works on our platform and uses our software on a daily basis. And we have the ambition to conquer all of Europe.

Who are we looking for?

• A Bachelor's or Master's student who is graduating in, for example, marketing, business administration, commercial economics, business innovation, communication, AI, or a similar study;.

• Someone who brings their own ideas and enjoys creating something new;.

• Someone who is available from February 2027, for the duration of their graduation period;.

• Someone who speaks Dutch. German or English is a plus..
