Job description

Do you want to conduct your graduation research at the intersection of automotive, digitalization, and innovation? Then we have an interesting challenge for you. Within After Sales, we are working on issues that are constantly evolving. Think of connected vehicles, vehicle data, digital customer journeys, and the changing expectations of car owners.

The automotive world is changing rapidly. Electrification, software-driven vehicles, and new forms of mobility mean that the way we help customers and maintain vehicles is also changing. During your graduation internship, you will have the opportunity to research one of these current developments and translate your insights into concrete opportunities and solutions.

What will you do?
You will conduct practice-oriented graduation research within the After Sales domain. The exact research question will be determined together with you and your educational institution. We will consider current issues within the organization as well as your interests and education.
Possible topics include:

  • Digitalization of claims processes: how can we make the claims chain smarter, faster, and more customer-oriented?

  • Connected vehicle: how can we use vehicle data to help customers more proactively and strengthen the bond with Toyota and Lexus?

  • Digital customer journeys: how can we improve the customer journey and proactively support customers at the right time?

  • New data-driven services: what new services and propositions can we develop based on data and technological developments?

What do we ask of you?

We are looking for an independent and curious graduate student who enjoys diving into complex issues and is not afraid to think outside the box:

  • Pursuing a relevant HBO or WO (Bachelor's or Master's) degree, for example, Commercial Economics, Business IT & Management, Innovation Management, Marketing, or Data Science;

  • Are analytical and critical and know how to ask the right questions;

  • Sees opportunities and enjoys thinking creatively and out of the box;

  • Works independently, proactively, and is solution-oriented;

  • Easily connects with different people and stakeholders;

  • Can listen well, ask follow-up questions, and connect different interests;

  • Has an interest in automotive, digitalization, innovation, and customer-oriented service;

  • Can translate complex issues into practical and innovative solutions;

  • Communicates well in both Dutch and English.

What can you expect from us?

During your graduation internship, you will have ample room to direct your own research. You will work on a current issue that truly matters within After Sales and will have the freedom to bring in your own ideas and insights. Of course, you won't be alone: you will receive good guidance and connect with various colleagues, customers, dealers, and other stakeholders.

In addition, you can count on:

  • A graduation assignment with commercial impact;

  • Plenty of room for initiative and ideas;

  • A broad network within and outside the organization;

  • Guidance from experienced professionals;

  • The opportunity to translate your research into concrete advice and solutions that can actually be used;

  • A peek behind the scenes of an organization that is fully engaged with the future of automotive.
