Graduation Project HBO – Digital Construction Site & AI

Job Description

RECO is active in the rental and services around the construction site, including temporary housing, energy, lighting, scaffolding, vertical transport, and construction site security.

The construction site is becoming increasingly digital. Data, IoT, AI, SaaS solutions, sensors, and real-time monitoring offer opportunities not only to digitally support individual products, but to make the

construction site as a whole smarter, safer, and more efficient.

What will you do?

How can RECO develop a scalable digital platform/concept with which construction sites can be integrally monitored, controlled, and optimized digitally, where SaaS, AI, IoT, and existing RECO services come together?

In doing so, one individual product is not central, but the question:

What does the construction site of the future look like and what digital role can RECO play in it?

The goal is to deliver a conceptually elaborated and substantiated digitization concept that RECO can use as a basis for further development and potential realization. The assignment must explicitly prevent the creation of merely a theoretical advisory report.

You will be challenged to work hands-on with technology and, where possible, to develop a working prototype or proof-of-concept.

Requirements

What do you bring?

👍 HBO education in Software Development or Engineering, ICT, Technical Informatics, Business IT & Management, AI & Data Science, or Applied Data Science

👍 Strong analytical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset;

👍 Interest in AI, SaaS, and cloud

👍 Affinity with software development;

👍 Ability to translate customer problems into digital solutions;

👍 Ability to conduct independent research;

👍 Willingness to actually build a prototype.

👍 Good command of the Dutch language.
