Job Description
Our Litigation and Arbitration team represents national and foreign clients in judicial proceedings in the first and second instances, both in State and Federal Courts, and in superior courts, in ad hoc arbitration proceedings and under the rules of the main Brazilian and international arbitration institutions.
Our practice has experience with disputes involving consumer law, antitrust, banking and financial law, capital markets, corporate law, contract law, infrastructure (construction, mining, energy, and oil and gas), administrative contracts, maritime, information technology, insurance, NGOs, social security, succession law, project finance, real estate, telecommunications, corporate transactions (M&A), environmental matters, and disputes involving public companies and their shareholders.
This position is for a digital law litigation team. The team handles sensitive and sophisticated cases involving major technology companies offering services such as social networks, private messaging, content hosting, electronic games, video and music streaming, marketplaces, cloud services, among other digital and innovative businesses. The team's portfolio includes judicial and administrative cases on current and important issues for this industry.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Act in civil litigation and pre-litigation focused on technology;
- Follow strategic judicial and administrative proceedings for clients;
- Participate in meetings with clients and report on case progress;
- Participate in strategy definition with the team and clients;
- Draft petitions, prepare memoranda, and create presentations;
- Review petitions drafted by junior attorneys;
- Participate in judicial hearings.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Completed higher education in Law with an active OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) registration;
- Postgraduate degree in Digital Law will be a differential;
- Experience in strategic civil litigation. Prior experience with topics related to the Marco Civil da Internet (Brazilian Internet Bill of Rights) and Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (General Data Protection Law) is not mandatory, but will be a differential;
- Prior experience in full-service law firms or firms specializing in dispute resolution or focusing on digital law will be a differential;
- Experience with foreign cases and clients;
- Advanced or fluent English is mandatory.
