How you can make a difference?

As Water Infrastructure Advisor, you will ensure that the water and sewerage system is functioning properly on construction sites as well as in all temporary situations and phases. You will work integrally with other disciplines such as roads, civil engineering, and technical installations. Do you have technical insight alongside the qualities of a connector? And do you enjoy working closely together with site preparation teams, execution teams, environmental managers, and external parties such as a water board or management organizations? What you will do as Water Infrastructure Advisor

Water is fascinating: dynamic, unpredictable, and of vital importance. Do you want to work with it? There are plenty of vacancies in urban water, but this function is unique due to the variety, development opportunities, and the organization that you will be part of. What you will do:

• You advise on design and realization teams on water and sewerage issues.
• You hold discussions with external water management organizations and water boards to get clear about requirements.
• You ensure input for permit applications.
• You work out hydraulic designs and drainage designs, working together with 3D modelers and draftsmen.
• You advise on pump chambers and determine within the framework dimensions of pump chambers and pumping capacities.

What you bring

• A completed HBO degree, for example in Civil Engineering, Water Management, or comparable.
• You have followed the basic course in sewerage and/or urban water or are willing to follow it.
• You have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• You can work with dynamic models.
• Analytical ability, organizational talent, and the capacity to switch between policy and practice.
• Good communication skills and a result-oriented, collaborative attitude.
