Rehabilitation Medicine Registrar Mackay Hospital and Health Service – Tropical North Queensland About the Role An exciting opportunity exists to join the Mackay Hospital and Health Service (HHS) as a Rehabilitation Medicine Registrar. This role offers broad exposure to complex rehabilitation medicine in a collaborative, supportive environment while enjoying a relaxed tropical lifestyle. As part of the Rehabilitation Unit, you will: * Manage a diverse case mix with a focus on complex neurorehabilitation; * Develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary team members, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and other healthcare professionals; * Participate in regular case conferences to discuss patient progress and develop individualized treatment plans; * Contribute to the development of rehabilitation programs and services within the hospital; * Collaborate with other medical specialties to provide comprehensive care for patients; * Develop and maintain a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines.
