Advanced Engineer in Digital Manufacturing

We are looking for an Advanced Engineer in Process Simulation with expertise in Siemens Plant Simulation. This position is focused on designing and developing virtual manufacturing environments, using detailed models with elements such as cranes, AGVs, paths, sensors, and advanced simulation logic.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed process simulations using Siemens Plant Simulation (advanced level).
• Model and integrate complex elements like cranes, AGVs, paths, sensors, and conditional logic.
• Generate and analyze KPIs: cycle times, efficiency, resource utilization, and bottlenecks.
• Validate simulated models with real-world data from the productive environment.
• Suggest and implement improvements based on quantitative analysis of the models.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure model accuracy and alignment with real processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• +5 years of experience in industrial process simulation.
• Advanced expertise in Siemens Plant Simulation, including advanced logic modules, AGV/crane management, paths, and sensors.
• Able to represent processes in 3D within the simulation environment.
• Analytical thinking, result-oriented, and continuous improvement.
