Solar Produce are New Zealand’s leading family-owned vegetable growers. We’re based on the land and everything we do reflects that - practical, no-fuss, and built on trust.

We’re growing fast, and so is the admin workload. That’s where you come in. From keeping the fleet serviced, to making sure compliance records are up to scratch, to helping create training resources and keeping in touch with customers, you’ll be at the hub of it all.

This isn’t job for someone who needs a tidy to-do list every day. It’s for someone who can spot what needs doing and take the lead, whether that’s behind the desk, pulling on a pair of gumboots for a quick quality check, or jumping on the phone to a supermarket buyer.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll support a small, hands on team who are often out and about. You’ll often be the one keeping things steady, which means you’ll need to be calm, organised and quietly onto it.

You’ll bring

· Solid admin experience, ideally in a role juggling varied priorities.

· Great judgment, initiative, and the ability to shift gears when needed.

· A knack for keeping people, plans, and records organised.

· Confidence with systems, emails, spreadsheets, and learning new tools. Bonus points for video editing or content creation.

· Comfort with a mix of office, customer-facing, and practical on-site work.

You’ll be someone who keeps the wheels turning without fuss, just action. You’ll grow with the role, make it your own, and take pressure off the senior team by thinking ahead and making things easier.

This is a permanent, full-time role. We’ll work with the right person to make it fit.
