Society for Telecommunications and Information Technology in Transport Networks “TELETRANS” S.A, is launching a competition for 1 (one) post of IT Network Administrator (LINUX) within the Server Administration and Operating Systems Department, Information Technology Department, on an indefinite period, 8 hours/day work program.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree from a technical faculty (Automatic, Computers, Informatics, Electronics, Cybernetics or equivalent);
  • General knowledge of security policies for data protection and prevention of cyber attacks;
  • Knowledge of foreign languages: English;
  • Certifications in the field are an advantage.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support and administration, with Linux-based systems (Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu);
  • Demonstrated knowledge of networks;
  • Experience or knowledge of programming languages (php, python);
  • Excellent communication skills.

PLUS:
  • Knowledge in VMware and OpenStack administration;
  • Familiarity with Active Directory;
  • Shell scripting;
  • Experience with virtualization technology is a major advantage.

Job Description

  • Ability to diagnose various Linux distributions;
  • Prior experience in installing and personalizing Linux distributions;
  • Configuring Linux servers and internal and client application systems;
  • Maintenance of operating systems and services on servers, including preventive, corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance;
  • Documented, examined, and improved existing processes and workflows;
  • Collaboration with other IT teams to ensure the quality and availability of company services.
