Job description
Elytis Hospital is looking for an IT person that doctors and nurses can rely on. In a hospital, when a workstation or printer isn't working, patients are waiting... We are looking for someone who knows networking and security, but also knows how to explain calmly, in simple terms, and resolve issues quickly.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years in IT administration or technical support, ideally in a multi-location organization
- Networking: TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP/DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN, switch and firewall configuration
- Windows: installation, configuration, user accounts and permissions, applications
- Hardware: diagnosis and troubleshooting for PCs, printers, and other peripherals
- Security in practice: backup and restore, updates, access control, incident recognition
- Patience and clear communication with people without technical training, especially when under pressure
- Discretion: you will be working near patient medical data
- Category B driver's license
- Advantage: experience in the medical field or a network/security certification
Responsibilities
- Administer the network across Elytis locations: switches, Wi-Fi, firewall, VPN between locations
- Install and maintain workstations, accounts, and applications used in the hospital
- Install and troubleshoot printers, multifunction devices, card readers, and other peripherals
- Keep security up-to-date: updates, antivirus, verified backups, access rights
- Implement the hospital's cybersecurity measures (NIS2 framework), together with the external consultant
- Provide direct support to medical and administrative staff and teach them how to work safely
- Maintain records of equipment, licenses, and interventions, and work with external suppliers
