Administrator for Networks and Firewall Systems (m/w/d)

In this hybrid role as Administrator for Networks and Firewall Systems (m/w/d) you will be responsible for managing a diverse network environment (LAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, Routing, Switching) and taking over administration, optimization, and troubleshooting in 2nd/3rd-Level-Support.

Tasks

• You will regularly participate in projects and support them with your knowledge
• Your daily tasks include, among other things, adjusting firewall rules, configuring firewalls and switches, upgrading firewalls and switches, and troubleshooting
• You will perform regular system checks, maintenance, and updates
• In addition, you will take over the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the network landscape as well as processing incidents and related services

Qualification

• You have successfully completed an IT training program, have a corresponding degree or equivalent qualification
• You bring very good knowledge with a well-known network manufacturer (e.g. Barracuda, Cisco, HPE Aruba, Extreme Networks or Sophos) and thus have a strong foundation to bring your expertise in
• You master the work with network technologies from a well-known manufacturer at a high level
• Experience in the NAC area is a plus, but not a must
