Job Requirements:
General Competences: ability to analyze and synthesize, orientation towards problem-solving, organizational skills, planning, and respect for deadlines, good communication and interpersonal skills, resistance to stress, pro-activity, correctness, and responsibility.- Education: Higher education, degree in technical/informatics profile (advantageous).
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in IT network and system administration.
- Knowledge:
- Solid knowledge of installing, configuring, and administering operating systems for stations (Windows 10/11) and servers (Windows Server).
- Broad knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, switching, routing, VPN) and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Advanced knowledge of physical network infrastructure: structured cabling (testing, certifying UTP/FTP cables), practical experience in connector installation and fiber optic splicing.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining video surveillance systems (CCTV), network recording devices (NVR), and IP cameras.
- Experience in administering network services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity solutions (antivirus software, firewall, security policies).
- Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Moderate English language proficiency (for technical documentation).
- Driving license category B.
- Availability for travel within the country to work points of the company,
Organizational Competences: team spirit, understanding of the company's specific activities and environment, familiarization with internal procedures and policies applicable to the position.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure server administration and maintenance, workstation, peripherals, and other technical equipment.
- Monitor network functionality, detect, and remediate identified hardware and software issues.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and security policies at the operational level.
- Provide specialized technical support to users for operating systems, Office applications, and other software programs.
- Install, configure, and update software applications and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Participate in implementing backup solutions and applying data security procedures.
- Collaborate with software and hardware technical assistance providers.
- Collaborate with branch office personnel to ensure maintenance of the video monitoring system at SNS S.A. production, packaging, weighing, and delivery points, including tourist activities, with dispatch at the central office.

Societatea Naţională a Sării S.A.-SALROM is the largest salt producer in Romania and operates its activity at the central office in Bucharest and seven branches across the country: Exploatarea Minieră Râmnicu Vâlcea, Salina Slănic, Salina Ocna Dej, Salina Ocna Mureş, Salina Târgu Ocna, Salina Praid, and Salina Cacica.
