Network Administrator

Requirements:

• University/higher education degree with a technical/IT profile
• CCNA certification or similar; CCNP Enterprise/Fortinet NSE certification or equivalent experience is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Solid knowledge of switching & routing protocols including BGP, IPSEC, Radius, SNMP
• Knowledge of configuring NGFW type equipment (Forcepoint, Fortigate, or similar), WAF
• Knowledge of configuring and administering FortiNAC (Network Access Control) and FortiClient EMS (Endpoint Management Server)
• Knowledge of configuring switch and router type equipment (CISCO)
• General knowledge of network management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and security.
• Knowledge of regex, Linux CLI, Windows batch/CMD
• Knowledge of configuring SSL and IPSEC VPNs, IDS/IPS, Load Balancing (Layer 4 and Layer 7), static and dynamic routing, spanning tree, 802.1x, VLAN, 802.3ad,
• General knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, DNS server, RADIUS server, DHCP server.

Responsibilities:

• Continuous monitoring of the network infrastructure
• Maintenance of the local network infrastructure (hardware and software)
• Documenting tests and changes in the network
• Keeping documentation and procedures up to date
• Testing and configurations of Cisco switches, Fortigate/Forcepoint firewalls, FortiNAC, Forticlient EMS, and other potential technologies
• Testing and configurations of network services
• Daily monitoring of alerts from the network infrastructure
• Tracking ticketing system, resolving and/or escalating issues
• Modifications in production firewall configurations (access rules, static routes, SSL VPN access, IPsec VPN tunnels)
• Modifications in production switch and router configurations
• Travel to own locations for the maintenance of communication equipment (if necessary)
• Propose technical solutions to be applied in the infrastructure
• Track the appearance of patches, new versions of network operating systems
• Respect configuration standards and equipment descriptions
• Collaborate with system administrators to remediate issues arising at the IT infrastructure level
• Report to the IT manager any incidents and malfunctions occurring in the network.
