Job Description
• Database administration, configuration, and maintenance (SQL) to ensure availability and optimal performance.
• Data integrity monitoring and security policy implementation.
• Backup and restore procedure creation and management.
• Query optimization and database structure optimization for performance.
• Implementation of necessary updates and patches.
• Collaboration with development teams for application integration with databases.
• Troubleshooting and resolving database-related problems.
• Network administration and maintenance (LAN, WAN, network equipment – switches, routers, firewalls).
• Performance monitoring and ensuring availability and security of the network.
• Configuration and implementation of security policies (VPN, firewall, access control).
• Troubleshooting and resolving connectivity and performance problems.
• Address management, VLANs, and network services (DNS, DHCP).
• Implementation of updates and patches for equipment and software.
• Collaboration with IT teams for infrastructure integration with internal systems.
• Documentation of configurations and procedures.
Requirements:
• Practical experience with database management systems (e.g. MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Solid knowledge of SQL language and data modeling concepts.
• Experience in database performance and security administration.
• Familiarity with monitoring and scripting tools (e.g. Bash, PowerShell).
• Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in network administration and equipment management (Cisco, Mikrotik, HP, Forti.).
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience in network security and monitoring.
• Ability to resolve problems and work under pressure.
• Higher education in IT or equivalent experience.
Advantage:
• Knowledge about BI applications (Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI).
• Relevant certifications.
