You will be responsible for administering and optimizing PostgreSQL databases in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment, ensuring their performance, security, and automation of processes. By doing so, you will contribute to the development of a scalable and efficient data storage solution. Your tasks will include: • Monitoring database performance and making adjustments as needed • Implementing backup and recovery procedures for PostgreSQL databases • Developing and maintaining scripts using Python and Bash languages • Automating database administration tasks using Ansible and Terraform tools • Collaborating with developers to ensure seamless integration of the system with other components • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and related technologies.
