Administrative Coordinator

The administrative coordinator's role is to assist the traders in their activities and work closely with the logistics coordinator to plan and monitor the road transportation of forest products. They ensure that our operations align with the performance standards and objectives of the US team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to deepen knowledge in the field.Responsibilities
- Build and maintain professional relationships with current truckers;
- Negotiate rates and book routes with current truckers;
- Provide accurate information to clients, suppliers, and truckers;
- Confirm bookings with the relevant parties;
- Track shipments and related documentation;
- Coordinate shipments with the sales team;
- Provide proactive administrative support to ensure the efficient handling of requests and correspondence;
- Verify and monitor inventory;
- Perform any other tasks required to ensure the smooth operation of the role.
- Work closely with the Logistic Coordinator;
Education and Technical Skills
- College diploma in a related field;
- Customer service experience (Required);
- Bilingualism (English and French) (Required);
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) (Required);
- Experience in logistics (Asset);
- Experience with SAP Business One (Asset);
- Experience with international clients (Canada, United States) (Asset);
- Experience in lumber and/or pallet wood (Asset).
