Cloud Administrator

Job description

You will join the Build & Orchestration team, part of the IT Games & Studios (ITG&S). This distributed and multidisciplinary team brings together system administrators, developers, and DevOps specialists. Together, they support and evolve infrastructure and services hosted on various cloud platforms, both internal and external, which feed game development flows used by Ubisoft studios worldwide.

As a Cloud Administrator, you will contribute to evolving, reliable, and high-performance services that have a direct impact on game production. This role combines system operations and development, in collaboration with several production teams within the organization, as well as participating in global service offerings (rotational support with other team members).

Responsibilities

Exploit, maintain, and improve our version orchestration infrastructure
Collaborate with production teams to support their pipelines and customized tools
Support Linux-based applications, work in Kubernetes environments
Develop and evolve backend services to optimize version distribution
Design and maintain scripts for automating routine maintenance tasks and ensuring system reliability
Analyze codebases or continuous integration and deployment pipelines in-depth to resolve issues effectively
Solve problems across the entire stack, from infrastructure to application
Set up observability and surveillance solutions
Promote automation and DevOps best practices throughout the development cycle
Participate in a global on-call rotation
