We are seeking a bilingual negotiation service administrator to join our negotiation team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and settling transactions, executing corrections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and exercising judgment in resolving daily tasks. They will also communicate with fund companies, cooperatives, and other stakeholders via letters, emails, or phone calls to correct and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Surety that daily settlement totals match those of the central depository.
• Maintaining daily settlement reports and requesting transfers for operations settlements.
• Controlling rejected negotiations and operations, detecting problems, and correcting them in the system or informing cooperatives of necessary corrections.
• Processing purchases, settlements, reconciliations, and CPG deadlines.
• Negotiating and settling fund transactions in accordance with defined service level agreements (ANS).
• Examining and completing financial and non-financial adjustments.
• Verifying requests to ensure they are complete and accurate, communicating with internal personnel and partners as needed.
• Responding promptly to incoming faxes from fund companies and cooperatives.
• Supporting external and internal partners using effective processing methods and recommending solutions for rapid and precise problem resolution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or professional development in a related field is an asset.
• A minimum of one year of experience in operations at a financial services company, preferably in the transaction services domain.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or the Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) course is an asset.
• Mastery of written and oral French and English for effective communication with partners, clients, and colleagues across Canada.
• Experience with Dataphile, Fundserv, and capital markets is an asset.
• Able to work independently to achieve required objectives, respecting regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Creative and flexible approach to problem-solving.
• Motivated individual with a willingness to achieve results.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Solid orientation towards customer service.
• Strong organizational, time management, and administrative skills.
• Able to make decisions, establish priorities, and maintain effective working relationships with various levels of management and personnel.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.

Salary:

The expected salary range for this position is $46,000 to $55,000 per year. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors specific to each candidate and the requirements of the role.
