Business Unit Administrator

Job description

We are looking for a person with solid administrative and financial experience, capable of maintaining a comprehensive view of the operation, strengthening resource control, and generating reliable information that facilitates decision-making.

This position will have a key role in the financial, accounting, administrative, and operational tracking of the Business Unit, as well as in coordination with various related companies and suppliers.


Objective of the position

To administer and control the financial, administrative, and operational resources of the Business Unit, ensuring an orderly, efficient, and profitable operation, as well as providing reliable and timely information to Management for decision-making.


Main responsibilities:

  • Administer the budget, cash flow, expenses, and payments of the Business Unit.
  • Supervise invoicing, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Coordinate with the accounting firm for closings and financial information.
  • Prepare financial and administrative reports for Management.
  • Track budget versus actual results and identify deviations.
  • Maintain administrative control of contracts, documentation, suppliers, and assets.
  • Follow up on obligations, critical dates, and administrative commitments.
  • Support the Commercial area in financial tracking of forecasts and projects.
  • Coordinate administrative relationships with other business units and external suppliers.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls that ensure the proper use of resources.
  • Control and track hired personnel, as well as payroll disbursement.
  • Follow up on accounting and administrative processes with the firm.


Profile:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience: 5 years in administration, finance, or business unit control.

Language: Intermediate to advanced English is essential, both oral and written, as daily communication and coordination will be with teams in the United States.

Desirable experience: B2B companies and/or government contracts.

What we offer:

  • Salary: 40k - 45K + benefits above the legal requirements.
  • A strategic position, with direct interaction with Management and participation in the comprehensive control of the Business Unit.
  • Work base: Polanco
  • Hours: Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.
