Technical Assistant Specialist in Automation with Hydro-Québec

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate and support activities related to the transfer to the new APB;
• Follow up on technical matters (QMT, NC, technical file, etc.) ;
• Provide the required technical expertise to support Construction Chiefs and Site Managers in their functions, from preparing bid submissions to closing the site ;
• Assist the interface between the site and DIT, respecting each party's roles and responsibilities ;
• Monitor construction work execution, in accordance with plans and tenders;
• Maintain project control by familiarizing yourself with contractual documents' content to report any errors/problems/anomalies related to the project ;
• Serve as technical reference on site ;
• Participate in monitoring site files and work methods ;
• Absorb project requirements and peculiarities, such as environmental techniques, quality, and safety, and participate in developing surveillance programs ;
• Verify the quality of plans, tenders, and their conformity with current standards ;
• Comment on contractors' quality plans ;
• E nsure that the quality plan is applied regarding technical, safety, and environmental requirements ;
• Participate in writing and processing necessary reports on all work, such as progress of works, supply chain management, labor, materials, complementary works, property damage and environment, technical defects, questions, modifications (QMT), and those related to quality procedures ;
• Participate in writing non-conformity reports following site surveillance and ensure follow-up ;
• E nsure that no non-conformity or deficiency hinders commissioning ;
• Perform any other connected tasks.
