Assistant Litigation
A permanent full-time position is available to support a litigation practice, primarily insurance litigation. The role will be exercised at 35 hours per week, daytime, Monday to Friday. The work model is hybrid, with required presence in the office two days a week and remote work on other days, except for scheduled in-person training or meetings.

Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and legal support to lawyers in litigation, primarily insurance litigation.
• Write, correct, and format various legal documents and correspondence in both official languages.
• Manage deadlines, organize files, and ensure the follow-up of procedures and deadlines.
• Coordinate meetings, travel, and communications with clients and opposing parties.
• Prepare files for judicial proceedings and ensure their update.
• Provide rigorous, structured, and autonomous support, while working effectively with the team.
What you'll need to succeed:
• Diploma in legal secretariat or equivalent training.
• 7 to 10 years of experience as a litigation assistant, ideally in insurance litigation.
• Contentious experience desired.
• Excellent mastery of French and English, both spoken and written, to interact effectively with a diverse clientele and write documents in both languages.
• Excellent mastery of computer tools related to legal work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Keen sense of organization, rigor, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and respect deadlines.
• Availability to start quickly.
