Welding Quality Control Assistant

Atempo spa - employment agency - Gallarate (VA) branch is looking for a Welding Quality Control Assistant to be inserted into the organization. The resource will be responsible for ensuring that all processes and products of the welding department (mainly TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and copper) meet the company's quality standards and customer technical specifications. Specifically, it will deal with: - Inspection and Testing: Perform dimensional and visual checks on welded components and semi-finished products, using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, durometers). - Non-Destructive Tests (NDT): Conduct and/or supervise tests of integrity (e.g. Leak Test, Hydrostatic Tests) and, preferably, NDT visual and liquid penetrant tests. - Documentation: Compile control reports, non-conformity sheets (NC) and test protocols. - Technical Support: Collaborate with the Production Manager and welding operators to identify and resolve the causes of non-conformities. - Conformity: Verify the correct application of Welding Procedures (WPS) and welder qualifications (WPQR). Requirements: - at least 3/5 years of experience in a Quality Control role in metalworking production contexts - Excellent ability to read mechanical drawings and knowledge of geometric tolerances (GD&T). - In-depth knowledge of welding processes (TIG and MIG) on materials such as Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Copper. The company offers: - direct employment contract; - salary commensurate with the candidate's experience; - working hours: Monday to Friday, 3 shifts.
