We are selecting a Meat Department Assistant for a retail store located in Reggio nell'Emilia. Your Mission The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following activities, ensuring maximum quality and excellent customer service: - Preparation and Processing: Cutting, deboning, sectioning, preparing meats and preparations (skewers, hamburgers, etc.). - Cash Register Management: Setting up and restocking the traditional meat counter and/or self-service area, keeping it always organized and clean. - Sales and Service: Direct assistance to customers, offering advice on meat cuts and cooking suggestions. - Hygiene and Safety: Strict application of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP). What We're Looking For - Experience: Previous experience, even minimal, as a butcher or meat department assistant, preferably gained in the context of GDO or traditional butcheries. - Technical Skills: Knowledge of different types of meat and processing techniques. - Certifications: Possession of HACCP certification currently valid (or availability to obtain it within a short time). - Soft Skills: Passion for the sector, customer orientation, precision, flexibility in working hours, and ability to work as part of a team.
