Purchasing Office Employee
We are looking for a Purchasing Office Employee to join our Mornago office, with a full-time contract and on-site work.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the operational management of the procurement process, from collecting and analyzing internal needs to preparing and issuing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
The person joining the Purchasing Office will primarily be responsible for:
- analyzing company needs and planning procurements;
- preparing, entering, and managing purchase orders;
- researching, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with suppliers;
- requesting and comparing offers and quotes;
- managing commercial negotiations with suppliers, with particular attention to prices, quality, delivery times, and payment terms;
- monitoring orders and delivery status, intervening in case of delays or critical issues;
- verifying and keeping contractual conditions and supplier data updated;
- maintaining the database and documentation related to purchases up-to-date;
- collaborating with the Production, Logistics, and Administration departments to ensure correct supply planning and material availability;
- supporting the control of invoices related to purchases;
- managing any non-conformities related to purchased materials or services, in collaboration with the relevant departments;
- contributing to cost optimization and the improvement of purchasing processes;
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses:
- experience, even if gained in similar roles, in the Purchasing Office field;
- good knowledge of the procurement process and purchase cycle management;
- ability to manage and negotiate with suppliers;
- familiarity with managing purchase orders and related administrative and management documentation;
- good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and main management software;
- precision, organization, and attention to detail;
- ability to manage priorities and deadlines;
- good interpersonal skills and teamwork aptitude.
Education
A diploma or degree in economics, management, logistics, or equivalent is preferred.
The profile is completed by good organizational skills, an analytical approach, operational autonomy, and a results-oriented attitude.
