Join us… We are currently seeking a Ad Sales Controlling Team Manager for a maternity cover. This role will report into the Head of Ad Sales Controlling and is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Ad Sales Controlling team. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to expand their experience and knowledge of the business, specifically focusing on the advertising revenues. The role will include the following responsibilities: * Leading and managing the team to ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/annual reporting. * Overseeing and managing the monthly revenue recognition process. * Partnering with the Ad Sales team to provide them with insights on revenue performance and identify areas of improvement. * Preparing and presenting financial analysis to senior management. * Supporting the budget and forecasting processes. * Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. * Identifying and implementing process improvements. * Liaising with other departments, such as Finance and Sales Operations. * Ad hoc projects as required. Skills & Experience: * Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent. * Experience in a similar role, ideally within a media or advertising environment. * Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proven leadership and people management skills. * Experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
