Actuarial Manager

CAREER OPPORTUNITY: A position for an Actuarial Manager exists in the Santam Re Actuarial function. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing actuarial support to the Reinsurance team, including the calculation of reinsurance premiums, the analysis of reinsurance data and the provision of actuarial advice to the business. The role will also involve the development of actuarial models and the maintenance of actuarial systems. The successful candidate will be a qualified actuary with a strong understanding of reinsurance principles and practices. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role will be based in our offices in South Africa, but the successful candidate will be required to travel occasionally to other locations in Africa and Asia.
