Actuarial Manager

Hire Resolve's Client is currently hiring for the position of Actuarial Manager to join their team. As an Actuarial Manager, you will manage an actuarial team responsible for analytical analysis and capital modelling, to ensure financial stability of the company and its clients and provide modelling support for the valuation of IFRS 17 compliant technical provisions. Responsibilities Internal process Play a leading role in the analysis of results, liaising with auditors and preparation of internal reports. Ensure that all actuarial models are accurate, reliable and compliant with regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including actuaries, accountants and other business partners. Provide guidance and support to junior actuaries on technical matters. External process Collaborate with external parties such as reinsurers, brokers and other insurance companies to negotiate and agree terms of reinsurance treaties. Ensure that all agreements are compliant with regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including reinsurers, brokers and other insurance companies. Provide guidance and support to junior actuaries on technical matters. Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field. Professional Qualifications Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) or Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA). Experience At least 5 years of experience as an actuary, preferably with a focus on general insurance. Skills Strong analytical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
