To achieve this, we need talented individuals who are passionate about their work and committed to making a difference.To direct actuarial analytical team and activities of a department specific function or area e.g. supervision of actuarial students and clerical staff.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies for the actuarial analytics team to ensure effective use of resources and optimal performance.Lead, manage and develop the actuarial analytics team to achieve business objectives and improve processes.Maintain and enhance the quality of actuarial analytics outputs to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet those needs.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning within the actuarial analytics team.Key Requirements:Strong understanding of actuarial principles and practicesExcellent leadership and management skillsAbility to develop and implement strategies for the actuarial analytics teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlinesBachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)Professional certification as an Associate of the South African Actuarial Profession (ASA) or equivalent is requiredMinimum 5 years' experience in actuarial analytics, preferably in a leadership roleBenefits:Competitive salary packageGenerous benefits package including medical aid, retirement fund and life insuranceOpportunities for career growth and professional development within FNB
