Active Directory Engineer (part-time 24 hours)

Where you make the difference

You are responsible for keeping our Active Directory environment operational and secure, among other things, through daily control tasks and investigating disruptions. You play a prominent role in preventing and resolving digital threats and security incidents.

• You manage & configure Active Directory group policies in accordance with information security policies

• You manage and optimize the Active Directory environment (accounts, OUs, groups, and policies)

• You automate management tasks as much as possible using Powershell, Ansible, and Terraform, among others

• You actively work on future-proofing improvements to our Active Directory environment, including forest upgrades and Active Directory redesign

• You continuously work on remediation activities that may arise from baseline scans, risk analyses, and security assessments.
  
  

Your future colleagues

You will work in the Data&Web Services Team of the Generic Infrastructure (IGI) department. We operate using an Agile methodology, combined with ITIL. An active contribution is expected to the success of this working method, which is reflected in the creation of high-quality stories and Epics, keeping your stories up-to-date on the Azure DevOps board, and active and constructive participation in events such as daily stand-ups, planning, review, and retrospectives. The total size of the Generic Infrastructure department is approximately 30 experts working in Heerlen and The Hague. The Data&Web Services Team consists of about 15 colleagues working in Heerlen and The Hague. We find enjoyment in our work important, and this is therefore anchored in our core values.

You are focused on continuous improvement: you identify, advise, execute, reflect, and take ownership and responsibility, both in collaboration and on content.

In addition, we expect:

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) work and thinking level.

• Demonstrable experience as a senior Active Directory administrator of complex Windows Server environments in an enterprise setting.

• Knowledge and experience with configuring and managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and Powershell. You possess relevant MS certification.

• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO27001, BIO, NIS2 and the application of security baselines, such as CIS.

• Experience with the (periodic) execution of various Active Directory backup/restore and recovery strategies.

Factually well-arranged

For our employment conditions, we follow the CAO Rijk (Civil Service Collective Labour Agreement). This means that, among other things, you can count on the following:

• A salary of at least €4,132 and a maximum of €6,275 gross per month based on 36 hours. Depending on your knowledge and experience. If you do not yet have all the necessary knowledge and experience at the start of your role, a temporary scaling in a lower salary scale may be chosen. You will make agreements about this with your manager at the start of your role.

• 8% holiday pay and a 13th month. In total, this is 16.5% above your salary. We call this the Individual Choice Budget (IKB). You decide how, when, and in what way you want to use this budget.

• Pension accrual with the ABP Pension Fund.

• A laptop (Microsoft or Apple) and mobile phone (Android or iOS).

• Two to three days of working from home, the rest of the time you will be present in our recently renovated building. You will make further agreements about this within your team.
