Acquisition Editor, Life Science

As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia, we are seeking an Acquisition Editor to join our Life Science team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life science publishing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with authors, editors, and other stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing editorial strategies for the Life Science portfolio; • Collaborating with authors, editors, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality content; • Managing the peer-review process and ensuring timely publication of manuscripts; • Staying up-to-date with developments in life science research and publishing trends; • Building relationships with key stakeholders, including authors, reviewers, and institutional clients. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, biochemistry, molecular biology), 3-5 years of experience in scientific publishing, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
