Accounts Receivable Officer

My client is a well-known brand here in New Zealand. They are experiencing a large amount of growth. One of the many reasons they are experiencing such growth is because they continuing to innovate. They have a well tenured team which reflects the great work culture that they have. The offices are located in Mt Wellington close to the motorway providing an easy commute. This role is great opportunity to join a growing team on a 3-month contract that could go longer.

The Role
The role reports directly into the finance manager and you will be working in the wider finance team. This role is an Accounts Receivable role and you will be looking after smaller ledger or portion of a larger ledger. It will be your responsibility to take ownership of the ledger assigned to you and you will be comfortable with the full Accounts Receivable process.

Your responsibilities are outlined below:

• Completing daily bank reconciliations
• Understanding billings different payment terms
• Receipting and allocations of payments
• Generating monthly reports
• Resolving customer queries
• Following upon overdue payments
• Ad hoc duties as required

Your Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in an Accounts Receivable position. Experience on larger systems, and the confidence to complete daily reconciliations on excel.

Working within a team you will be someone who can work collaboratively but is results orientated with a high attention to detail.
