Accounts Payable Specialist

As an accounts payable specialist, you will be part of the financial team in a dynamic, fun, and creative environment. Reporting to the controller, your main responsibilities will include applying and managing the accounts payable cycle for MEDFAR and its subsidiaries in Canada and the United States. Additionally, you will participate in implementing new processes and supporting special projects related to potential acquisitions to align with MEDFAR's rapid growth.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the complete accounts payable process.
• Invoice management: Receive, examine, and process invoices from payables, ensuring accuracy, approvals, and correct coding in the general ledger.
• Manage timely payments of payables and coordinate cash flow management according to our objectives.
• Ensure validation and processing of expense reports.
• Enter transactional data into accounting software with precision and speed.
• Payable relations: Serve as the main point of contact for payables regarding questions about invoicing, payment status, and problem resolution.
• Support the controller in daily operations and additional tasks, such as monthly analysis.
• Compliance and controls: Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously seek opportunities to increase data accuracy.
• Support audit requirements for the company.
• Reconcile credit cards.
• Aid the team with other connected projects.
