ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

For a Multinational company operating in the Luxury apparel sector, we are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to be integrated into the Finance department, with responsibilities in managing the accounts payable cycle and relationships with national and international suppliers.


Main Responsibilities:




  • Update Vendor Master Data.
  • Manage and update vendor master data.
  • Record incoming invoices from Italy, EU, and non-EU countries.
  • Manage fiscal compliance related to foreign operations, including self-invoices for non-EU services.
  • Assign barcodes for the registration of EU, non-EU invoices, and bank statements.
  • Record customs documents.
  • Monitor and follow up on invoices awaiting approval for Ri.Ba. (Bank Draft) collection.
  • Operational management of Ri.Ba. collection procedures.
  • Check and update the vendor payment calendar.
  • Prepare payments via bank transfer.
  • Manage confirming operations.
  • Verify and reconcile vendor account statements.
  • Monitor and manage open delivery notes (DDT).
  • Issue and manage Letters of Intent.
  • Vendor circularization activities.



Requirements:



  • Diploma or degree in economics or related fields.
  • Previous experience in accounts payable (2 years), preferably in structured environments. Experience in the Fashion/Luxury sector will be considered a plus.
  • Good knowledge of VAT regulations (Italy, EU, and non-EU).
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite (especially Excel).
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 will be considered a plus.



Offer:



  • Applicable National Collective Agreement: Commerce (CCNL Commercio).
  • Initial fixed-term contract of 6 months with the possibility of a 6-month extension.
  • The proposed salary ranges between € [27,000] and € [32,000] gross annual, determined based on the contractual level, the responsibilities involved, and the characteristics of the position.
  • Work location: Central Milan (Duomo).
