Accounts Payable Officer

The Company My client is proudly Kiwi and a big player in local and international freight. This business is truly global sending and receiving material from around the world for some of the biggest businesses in New Zealand. They are based in Takapuna close to public transport links. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join on a 2-3 month contract with potential to extend or go permanent. The Role As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be working within a accounting team to process and manage accounts payable. This includes but is not limited to: processing invoices, reconciling statements, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, preferably within a freight or logistics industry. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well under pressure.
