Accounts Payable - 18 month fixed term contract

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this is an 18-month fixed term contract created to assist with current business demands. In this role, we are looking for an outgoing and autonomous operator with experience in operating in our overall AP function to ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices and expense reports. With strong attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile, you are someone with the ability to manage our invoice and statement processing

In this role, you will:

• Verify customer details
• Gather business requirements for new systems on the payable end-to-end process
• Assist in the gap analysis with other project implementation team members
• Work closely with the project implementation team and provide input from the business on the payable system configuration
• Prepare testing scenarios and participate in the SIT and UAT testing on the payable related process in the new system
• Provide regular updates on the implementation progress & follow up with stakeholders to get outstanding issues resolved
