Accounting technician

Robert Gore & Associates has a great opportunity for a full-time accounting technician with public practice experience to join our firm's Oakville office. Read more about us at www.goreca.com About the Opportunity · Responsible for drafting of engagements with minimal supervision required; · Monitor and update engagement plans and budgets; · Prepare client files – primarily composed of financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documentation; · Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other reports; · Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client files; · Perform various administrative tasks, including but not limited to, answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other duties as required; · Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues; · Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills; · Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and objectives; · Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations; · Perform other duties as required.
