Accounting Systems Support Specialist

Since our establishment in 2016, our company has consistently achieved double-digit growth on an annual basis. We currently have a team of over 120 fintech experts in the UK and internationally. We are looking for an Accounting Systems Support Specialist to join our growing Finance team. The Accounting Systems Support Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for our accounting systems, ensuring their smooth operation, and assisting with various financial processes. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. Key Responsibilities: * Provide first-line support for accounting systems, including troubleshooting issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams. * Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity within accounting applications. * Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting software updates and new modules. * Collaborate with the Finance team to understand their needs and requirements for accounting systems. * Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and FAQs, for accounting systems. * Assist in the training of end-users on accounting systems and related processes. * Perform data analysis and reporting to support financial operations. * Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities. * Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within accounting systems. * Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. * Assist with the reconciliation of accounts. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Proven experience in supporting accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, Sage). * Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. * Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
