Accounting Supervisor

Key Responsibilities 1. Client Work & Portfolio Management Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients. Review and assist in: Daily accounting transactions (Source to TB) Monthly management accounts Annual financial statements (IFRS & IFRS for SMEs) VAT returns and reconciliations Provisional tax calculations Ensure timely, accurate client deliverables. Maintain strong client relationships and provide practical accounting advice. Identify process and system improvement opportunities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services. Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio management framework. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). 2. Team Management & Development Provide guidance, support, and training to team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Encourage open communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Identify and address skill gaps through targeted training and mentorship. 3. Process Improvement & Innovation Analyze and optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. Develop and implement new processes and systems to drive business growth and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvement initiatives. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented changes. 4. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with client work and internal operations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address compliance-related issues. Monitor and report on key compliance metrics.
