Accounting & Reporting Lead

Our Accounting Team is looking for a new colleague to fill in our Accounting & Reporting Lead vacant position!

Job purpose is to lead the implementation and management of complex IFRS projects and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting under IFRS and Romanian GAAP.

This role supports the Head of Accounting, Reporting and Tax by overseeing critical accounting functions and projects, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality outputs.

Main responsibilities are:

• Lead the implementation and management of complex IFRS projects, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and timely delivery.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Romanian GAAP.
• Provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Accounting, Reporting and Tax to support strategic planning and operational execution.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and coordinate their integration into accounting practices.
• Drive process improvements and internal controls related to accounting and reporting activities.
• Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders on accounting and reporting matters.
