We are looking for you to fill the position as

Accounting Manager (w/m/d) with SAP & English & SAP on-site or remote

for a national and internationally operating technical company with approximately 2,000 employees worldwide, approximately 350 employees in EMEA, and approximately 100 employees at the German locationHamburg.

In accordance with your qualifications and professional experience, you can earn up to 90,000 € p.a. plus 10% variable here.

The full-time position is to be filled through personnel placement. This means: You will have a fixed employment relationship with your new employer from the start, which they would like to keep for many years.

All subsequent designations are directed at all genders for better readability.

Aufgaben

Voilà, that's what your new job looks like!

• You will take over the implementation of closing, consolidation, and audit processes for legal entities and subsidiaries in the EMEA region
• You will coordinate the closing work between internal finance, CFO international, and external service providers, who are responsible for ongoing financial accounting
• You will maintain close cooperation with the finance, tax, and treasury teams in EMEA to ensure compliant and uniform financial processes throughout the region
• You will be responsible for payroll and salary accounting in close collaboration with HR
• You will monitor account and side-by-side book reconciliations and manage provisions and allocations
• You will inform local management on-site about significant deviations in balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements compared to previous year and budget
• You will bring your experience into play for further process optimization.

Qualifikation

This is what you bring:

• You have at least six years of professional experience in a comparable position in an international environment
• You also have experience in independently preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB plus conversion to IFRS (intercompany reconciliation)
• You possess very good German language skills in writing and speaking, as well as English language skills
• You bring good SAP knowledge with you
• Experience in cooperation with external service providers in accounting and/or shared service centers is advantageous but not a requirement
• You are willing to make occasional international trips (Asia and USA). Additionally, there will be occasional visits on-site in Hamburg by international finance colleagues
