Accounting Manager

Title: Accounting Manager Location: Ahmedabad Shift: EST (US Shift) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced US Accounting Manager with strong expertise in US GAAP, audit support, financial reporting, and team leadership . The role involves managing end-to-end accounting functions for US-based clients, ensuring compliance with US regulations, delivering accurate financials, and leading a team of accountants to achieve operational excellence. 1. Accounting & Financial Reporting Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions. 2. Audit Support Provide audit support services to ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal auditors and external auditors to identify and address any issues or concerns. 3. Team Leadership Lead a team of accountants to achieve operational excellence, focusing on process improvements, productivity, and quality control. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. 4. Compliance Ensure compliance with US regulations, including SOX, FASB, and IFRS. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, laws, and regulations to ensure accurate financial reporting. 5. Financial Analysis Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. 6. Process Improvement Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement new processes and procedures. 7. Communication Develop strong communication skills to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders, including management, clients, and external auditors. Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests for information. 8. Education & Certification Maintain current knowledge of accounting standards, laws, and regulations by attending training sessions, workshops, and conferences. Obtain and maintain relevant certifications, such as CPA or CMA.
