Your future team:

Seyna's Finance team is the engine of financial rigor for a rapidly growing insurtech, at the intersection of data, regulation, and strategy. Within this team, the Accounting function drives daily financial management: recording transactions, cash management, quarterly closings, regulatory reporting, and annual financial statements – it is the key point of contact for banks, auditors, and the ACPR. By joining Seyna as Accounting Director, you will lead this function in a context of strong industrialization, where the reliability of figures is a major strategic challenge.

What you will do:

• Ensure Seyna's financial truth: you will be the guarantor of the accuracy of accounts, the precision of closings, and the robustness of accounting processes – without surprises, without last-minute adjustments.

• Master insurance accounting in all its complexity: technical provisions, reinsurance treaties, balance sheet mechanisms specific to insurers – you will be the go-to expert on these topics within Seyna.

• Industrialize and automate the accounting function: you will build and continuously improve accounting tools and processes, minimizing critical manual operations and shortening closing times.

• Oversee cash management: broker and reinsurer receipts, payment terms, follow-ups, consistency between statements and the income statement – you will ensure there are no unexpected cash flow tensions.

• Manage tax compliance: filings, optimization within the legal framework, managing relationships with tax authorities.

• Prepare Seyna for due diligence: you will ensure that the accounting department can at any time provide complete, consistent, and high-quality financial documentation for investors, auditors, and the ACPR regulator.

• Manage and grow the accounting team: you will supervise the team, support their skill development, and actively participate in recruitment.

You are in the right place if:

• You have strong technical expertise in insurance accounting: technical provisions, reinsurance, balance sheet mechanisms specific to insurers – nothing is a secret to you.

• You have previously built or revamped a scalable finance function with industrialized and automated accounting systems.

• You are capable of understanding all the complexities of a rapidly growing company and anticipating their impact on the accounting scope.

• You know how to dive into data and understand the end-to-end journey of accounting information – including in a data environment as specific as Seyna's.

• You have true executive leadership: you inspire confidence, you make decisions, and you know how to adopt a leadership posture within a management committee.

• You can communicate concisely and effectively, whether with internal or external stakeholders (banks, auditors, regulator).

• You remain calm under pressure and know how to prioritize serenely, even when things are moving fast.
