Accounting Coordinator

Nosour client, a global insurance company, is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join their team, with a hybrid work model (2x/week) in Alphaville Industrial!

Job responsibilities:

•Project validation
•Validation of system corrections with the technology team, relating to accounting impacts
•Follow up on company business, participating in kick-off meetings, aiming for accounting impacts
•Report SPAIN
•BS Analytics – Comments
•Review of all entity closures.
•Local reconciliation review
•GAAP reconciliation review
•Blackline approval
•FIP SUSEP review
•Attending to letters and summonses regarding SUSEP and Federal Revenue.
•Support and development of new processes
•Following, evaluating the impacts and implementing new rules for SUSEP, USGAAP, and IFRS.
•Performing CECL
•Keeping policy updated for PCLD, Intangible, and Inventory Depreciation.
•Maintaining updated accounting procedure manuals
•Reviewing publication of balance sheet
•Supporting and organizing audit demands with other areas
•Creating a work schedule for closure, publication of balance sheet, audit, Report Gaap.
•Following up on deliveries and demands with the accounting team
•Managing the accounting team: one-on-one, prioritizing goals and demands, engagement, training, and recognition
•Reviewing the prudential questionnaire
•Supporting the company on accounting aspects, in scope of USGAAP and SUSEP.
•Promoting improvements to existing processes, evaluating possibilities for process automation with focus on error mitigation and time reduction.
Conhecimento técnico/ Certificações técnicas necessárias:

•Accounting, Economics or Administration with accounting technical degree from CRC.
