Accounting Assistant (Part-Time, Potential Full-Time) - Sydney CBD
We are looking for a motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team! This is a part-time role ($30/hr) with the potential to transition into full-time, perfect for someone who wants hands-on experience in a professional, student-centered environment.
What You'll Do:
We are looking for a motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team! This is a part-time role ($30/hr) with the potential to transition into full-time, perfect for someone who wants hands-on experience in a professional, student-centered environment.
What You'll Do:
- Support daily accounting tasks: accounts payable & receivable, invoices, and expense tracking
- Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in audits or budgeting tasks
- Work closely with the finance team and gain exposure to real-world financial operations
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting software (MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks) a plus
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and organisation
- Excellent communication skills
- Full Work Rights in Australia
- $30 AUD/hour
- Part-time with potential to become full-time
