Accountant/Chief Accountant

Our company is looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant/Chief Accountant to join our financial department team. If you have solid knowledge in accounting and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this position may be suitable for you.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has higher education in economics

- Has at least five years of experience in the financial-accounting field

- Holds CECCAR certification and has knowledge of current tax legislation

- Has experience working with Charisma or other ERP programs

- Has excellent Excel skills

- Is detail-oriented and accurate in recording operations

- Has organizational, communication, punctuality, seriousness, and responsibility skills

The main responsibilities of the position are:

- Recording accounting operations resulting from current activity in accounting records

- Performing checks for accounting records made during the month

- Performing reconciliations for financial accounts at the end of the period

- Verifying VAT for documents, preparing journals and TVA declaration

- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual declarations to ANAF

- Organizing and coordinating the annual inventory process

- Coordinating accounting records for partners, clients, and suppliers and tracking third-party accounts

- Monitoring expense accounts and reconciling credit card accounts

- Verifying and reconciling salaries and taxes and contributions

- Preparing any other reports required by company management
