Tasks

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Determination and booking of provisions (e.g., costs, taxes etc.)
  • Monitoring and coordination of accounts receivable and payable
  • Maintenance and coordination of balance sheet and main account records
  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the trial balance
  • Review and support of accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting
  • Implementation of credit control
  • Preparation of value-added tax returns, INTRASTAT reports etc.
  • Preliminary preparation of documents and evaluations for tax consultants
  • Support during annual financial statement, tax, and internal audits
  • Participation in projects on new local regulatory requirements (accounting, taxes etc.) as well as support for the introduction of new accounting systems and processes
  • Taking over additional accounting tasks and supporting the team as needed

Qualification

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting/bookkeeping
  • Training or certification as a certified accountant from an advantage, but not a requirement
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles according to HGB and IFRS
  • Good knowledge of tax law
  • Outstanding analytical and financial skills
  • Safe handling of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience in dealing with ERP systems
  • Good communication skills in German and English, written and spoken
  • High willingness to work, flexibility, and motivation
  • Hands-on mentality and self-employed working style
