Accountant & Payroll Specialist (m/w/d)

Tasks

• You are responsible for the entire accounting from bookkeeping, creditor/debtor accounting (including online payments via Stripe) as well as asset and fixed asset accounting.
• You ensure clean closures: periodical bookings and participation in annual closures and tax returns.
• You have payroll accounting under control: term-based settlements, payment flows, and the entire notification and certification process.
• You are the first point of contact for health insurance companies, authorities, and during wage tax and social security audits.
• You steer payment traffic and debt collection: invoicing, account maintenance, and value-added tax submissions reliably and on time.
• You think processes through and contribute proactively to quality assurance in the financial sector.

Qualification

• Must have: Completed degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/controlling or a completed vocational training in commercial professions with extensive experience in a comparable position.
• You know the practice: several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in an e-commerce environment.
• You master the tools with secure handling of DATEV, MS-Office, and payment service providers like Stripe.
• You work precisely: accuracy, reliability, and proactive quality awareness are self-evident to you.
