Accountant (m/w/d)

We are EterniTeam, a company that acquires small and medium-sized enterprises looking for a reliable succession solution. We establish a qualified and long-term successor and involve this person and all employees in the company. We ensure that all parties involved benefit: departing and succeeding entrepreneurs and also employees.

We are looking for a full-time Accountant (m/w/d) at our office located centrally at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. We seek an experienced, structured, and numerate person who is eager to actively shape the accounting of our own EterniTeam companies.

Tasks

• Sole responsibility for ongoing accounting of all EterniTeam companies
• Coordination and communication with our external tax office (e.g., at monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, payroll accounting)
• Booking and checking of incoming and outgoing invoices
• Account maintenance, payment transactions, and bank statements
• Preparation of internal reports, support for consolidations, and controlling evaluations
• Support in and implementation of liquidity planning and forecasts
• Ensuring compliance with the principles of proper accounting
• Shaping and further development of digital financial processes (e.g., DATEV including Unternehmen Online and automation services, other KI-based tools)

Qualification

• Completed commercial training or business studies with a focus on accounting, finance, or controlling or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of professional experience in accounting or controlling
• In-depth knowledge of HGB, ideally also IFRS
• Familiarity with DATEV including modules such as Unternehmen Online and automation services
• Outstanding digital competence and interest in process optimization
• Analytical thinking, self-initiative, and structured working style
• Very good German language skills (at least C1), at least good English language skills (B1)
